  • Founded in January 2000 ETP Engenharia is an engineering limited company registered as a shipbuilder.

    ETP initiated its activities as a ship repairer performing dry-docking and general repairs in more than 100 ships, mostly offshore supply vessels.

    In November 2002, ETP focused on shipbuilding with a contract for the construction of ten (10) aluminum catamarans for Barcas S / A.

    After delivering the catamarans, ETP continued with its activities in naval area, building fast passenger and pilot aluminum boats with its own designs.

    In April 2009, ETP rented several facilities at Ilha do Viana, where has been building aluminum and steel vessels. Ilha do Viana and Ilha de Santa Cruz are islands in Guanabara Bay, where several companies in the shipping and offshore industry operate with long-term rental contract with Renave.

    ETP and Renave have a successful partnership since ETP was created, back in 2000, and the long-term renting contracts between them remain up to 2024. In June 2010, consolidating a long-term partnership with Camorim - a major tug and barges owner and operator - ETP rented part of their facilities at Ilha da Conceição in order to build ships exclusively to them, including a 48-metres long floating dock for Camorim and ETP’s own usage.

    Aiming to improve its logistics and increase its production capacity, in June 2012, ETP purchased an area in Itaboraí, located 30km inland from the shipyards. At this location ETP is installing an operational unitcalled ETP Industry.

    ETP Industry has fulfilled the company’s operational needs, supported the development of new products and the offer of services for external clients.

    In 2016 ETP has being restructured with the objective to develop new business areas to meet the growing challenges of the O&G industry.

    In addition of ETP Engineering, ETP Shipyard and ETP Industry, new business areas was created: products and services related to the construction of subsea equipment and offshore modules, artificial intelligence applied to the optimization of subsea structures design (ETP Artificial Intelligence) and qualification of subsea materials and equipment (ETP Qualification).
